How to Increase The Range Of Your Car Remote

This is actually very simple and I think will also work for other types of remote controls. It involves the simple opening of the remote and locating the antenna. The antenna may be a round or square flat surface. Lightly sand and solder a 2 inch piece of insulated wire to it. Loop the wire and keep it inside the remote.

Voila, the extended internal antenna had made the remote more powerful by at least 50 feet!

A hybrid vehicle uses two power sources; fuel and electricity. When on idle or traffic stops, some hybrid vehicles do not consume gas at all. It mostly uses gas when shifting from "stop" to "run" and uses mostly battery power when on ordinary cruising mode. Because of that, gas savings are tremendous.

Do you know that you can convert your ordinary car into a hybrid? Converted cars, while possible are said to save a lot of gas but not as much as the factory made hybrid vehicles. Still, fuel savings can be encouraging and the thought that the environment benefits from less emission should be very encouraging.
